There is a large lounge/diner with balcony and a fully fitted kitchen containing:

All appliances are electric.

The sunny roof terrace offers spectacular views of the golf, sea, mountains and countryside and is fitted with a large 8–people jacuzzi.

The property has fitted wardrobes, video–entryphone, air conditioning, underfloor heating and satellite TV. The small private community has a beautiful swimming pool and gardens.

The property sleeps 8 people with all bedding and towels provided and inclusive of electricity and water.

Cleaning and laundry during your stay can be arranged at extra cost.

Around and About

El Chaparral is only 20 minutes drive to the airport. A taxi costs about 35 euros or the train connects the airport and Fuengirola but car and vehicle hire is readily available.The charming fishing village of La Cala de Mijas is just over 1 km away and has supermarkets, Post Office, banks, bars, restaurants, shops and a long stretch of sandy beach. In the summer months, there is live entertainment in the square.

Fuengirola is a busy holiday town and offers everything that any holidaymaker could desire. For shopping, the Miramar shopping complex with hypermarket and a range of other shops is ideal as is Dunnes Stores (the Irish equivalent of M & S).

The old quarters (Fish Alley) boasts some of the best international cuisine for miles around at very reasonable prices or you could eat at one of the restaurants in the port.

Fuengirola has 7 kms of beautifully kept white sandy beach and one of the longest promenades on the Costa del Sol and most beaches have been granted the blue–flag for their cleanliness and facilities.

Without a doubt the most sought–after activity is golf. Since 1997 when the Ryder Cup was held here the coast has been known as the Costa del Golf. There are over 30 beautiful golf courses to choose from, even a floodlit course where you can play by night and El Chaparral golf course is right on the doorstep.

With more than 320 days of sunshine a year and average summer temperatures of 30–35°C, most leisure activities can be enjoyed here on the Costa del Sol:

• tennis,
• sailing and other watersports,
• fishing,
• horse–riding,
• mountain climbing,
• paragliding,
• hiking,
• cycling,
• go–karting,
• quad biking,
• and bird–watching.

The largest race course in Southern Europe, the Hipódromo, is about one minute away and Torrequebrada Casino is about 15 minutes away and offers nightly entertainment. Nightlife is lively in most towns with a selection of nightclubs, roller–skating, cinemas, theatre, bars and restaurants.

Other places to visit would include Mijas Pueblo, Marbella, Puerto Bánus, Gibraltar, Granada with its Alhambra Palace and Sevilla.
