Outdoors

The beach and beach cafés are reached by a short stroll through the exclusive residential area to the sand–fringed Mediterranean beyond.

Even the hardiest gastronomes will be delighted at the range of international cuisine available in the local shopping complex. The nearby supermarket provides local and international fresh produce for those guests wishing to cater from the apartment.

The view from the balcony is amongst the best in the area.

For the golfers the apartments are adjacent to the Guadalmina golf club that has two 18 hole golf courses and one par three course. What could be more convenient?

Golf

For the keen golfers: Costa del Sol is often referred to as Costa del Golf. It is pleasant to play in all months of the year but most prefer to play between Oct and May, thanks to the superb climate.

There are over 50 courses along the Costa and there are many good courses very close to home:

  • Guadalmina,
  • San Pedro de Alcantara,
  • Puerto Banus,
  • Marbella Area.

Other Interests

This region caters for every conceivable desire to offer a group or family the means to indulge every individual’s ideal without compromising anybody’s holiday experience.

Beach & watersports: literally just down the road. For a change, San Pedro — long promenade and beach (3 minutes by car), Buerto Banus (8 mins by car).

Restaurants: spoilt for choice within walking distance. Others reccommended in San Pedro and Puerto Banus.

Puerto Banus

Puerto Banus is the local answer to St. Tropez, a resort where the most luxurious yachts imaginable and ‘Gin Palaces’ which never go to sea are lined up around the harbour to be admired and envied by the visitors strolling along the quay. Rolls–Royces and Ferraris cruise slowly along the marina. Bars, restaurants and discotheques cater to a lively and cosmopolitan crowd.

Shopping

Many holiday-makers just go to this region to shop, thanks to the strong pound.

San Pedro offers a quaint pedestrian shopping precinct in the old town. Marbella and a huge shopping centre at La Canada cater for the shopaholics of your party with so much retail therapy available that the most jaded heart will be cured within a day.

There are several rustic and charming local markets close by for those genuine souvenirs and for when the Euros don–t stretch far enough for presents back home.

As regards Puerto Banus go armed with credit cards and be tempted into haute couture fresh from the catwalks of Milan, Paris and London, or linger over a coffee and admire the beautiful people as they browse the boutiques.

Shopping here used to be a well guarded secret of those in the know from UK but these days the secret is out and the strength of the pound means that all of us can afford to take at least one designer piece home.

How to get there

The most popular arrival airport is Málaga.
